Featured Band--- Tool

Tool is so far from being a simple rock band trying to play their instruments really fast or trying to win grammys or platinum awards. They are an artrock band with a very dark oriented music, they are characterized also for being a progressive metal band but this one is very special. Tool reminds me of the first time I heard Pink Floyd or Black Sabbath, they have this aura of darkness in the music.
Their is music is very singular, just imagine pink floyd as a metal band with a more dark touch although they stated as a primary influence King Crimson, even Robert Fripp said "I happen to be a Tool fan. The members of Tool have been generous enough to suggest that Crimson has been an influence on them. Adam Jones asked me if I could detect it in their music, and I said I couldn’t. I can detect music, and I said I couldn’t. I can detect more Tool influence in King Crimson, than I can hear King Crimson in Tool."

This band is highly recomended for those of you who like very strange rare and unusual type of music including metal obviously. I recommend Lateralus a simple masterpiece, a pice of art.
